The Technology You Need

Our Advanced Imaging Services area also brings 3T MRI, 64 Slice CT, ECHO and X-ray services to campus. Across all areas, our advanced imaging capabilities allow physicians to more accurately and efficiently diagnose patients’ conditions, and our team of sub-specialized radiologists provide expert interpretations and send the results instantly to your referring physician.

PET/CT

Positron emission tomography- computed tomography (PET/CT) is a nuclear medicine technique which combines technologies to produce sequential images from both devices in the same session that combine to form an even more detailed image for analysis.

64 Slice CT

A CT exam uses a special X-ray tube to produce a series of computerized images of your body. It can detect medical conditions that do not appear on traditional X-rays.

X-Ray

An X-ray is a noninvasive test that assists in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. X-rays involve exposing a body part to a small dose of ionizing radiation, which allows physicians to look inside the body.

3T MRI

The 3T MRI is the fastest diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging technology available. It has a stronger magnet than the traditional MRI and makes very detailed images of organs and soft tissue. It is used to make images of the brain, the spine, the soft tissue of joints and the inside of bones and blood vessels.

An echocardiogram checks how your heart’s chambers and valves are pumping blood through your heart using electrodes to check your heart rhythm and ultrasound technology to see how blood moves through your heart.
